David Tocher

Biography

DAVID TOCHER (pronounced “talker”) is a resident of the Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. He is an editor, a fiction author, and an essayist. His 2019 anthology Canadian Dreadful received high praise from David Morrell, who described it as a “harrowing tour of the northern landscape that will leave you both dazzled and terrified.” Tocher is also Associate Producer of several independent motion pictures, including The Edge of Her Mind, Dawn Field’s anthology of short films, made by and about women, and Beyond the Gates of Hell, written and directed by Dustin Ferguson and starring the iconic Brinke Stevens of The Slumber Party Massacre fame. When Tocher isn’t writing fiction or reading Shakespeare, you’ll likely find him watching B-movie horror films and relishing every minute of it!
